JICARO BEACH
Our lots look out over lovely Jicaro Beach, nature's own swimming pool
of crystal Pacific water protected by an ancient rock formation that
causes spectacular explosions of mist as the waves crash behind its
protective arms.
In this phase we already completed our social area “ Rancho Tortuga ”
with pool area and bar.

CANELA BEACH
In just six short weeks Phase I - Jicaro Beach was almost completely

And so…without further ado…Playa Santa Rosa proudly unveils Phase II
- Playa Canela another stretch of unspoiled paradise in a land that is
little known to those except the enlightened.
Playa Canela means Cinnamon Beach, like the tan color of her sands,
like the spicy sting of the chili peppers she bears, like the bronze skin of
the people who bathe in her waters.
The ancients revered this exotic landscape for its fertility and beauty. A
lucky few will follow in the footsteps of those forgotten people, pay
homage to their traditions, take shelter on their shores; and simply do
what is best in such a place; relax without a care in the world.
Playa Canela is 500 meters westward along the beach from Jicaro, but
the topographical diversity of the land makes for some interesting and
unique characteristics the distinguish it from Phase I.
Playa Canela has a double view: On one side, the sun sets as emerald
waves crash on Cretaceous rock and russet sands. On the other side the
sun rises over rolling hills and a resting place, where for much of the year, Snowy Egrets, Rufescent Tiger Heron, Brown Pelicans and Solitary
Sandpipers wade in brackish waters.
Playa Canela has not one but two beaches: To the north, Playa Canela a picturesque cove where enamored couples meet for afternoon
rendezvous', and to the south Playa Izapa where the sounds of laughter between lifelong friends and newly formed lifelong friendships can be
heard.
Playa Canela has two kinds of shore: dramatic rock for those who prefer to stair out over the infinite blue with a good book and cold cerveza, and
gentle sand for those who delight in splashing and playing with the sand between their toes.

As with all great things: the last page of a good book, the final
movement in a symphony concerto, the grand finale of a fireworks
display, we have saved, what might be considered the very best that

Fittingly, this scenic cove does justice to the concept of good endings.
The word Cacao means Natural Chocolate Bean, and with only twelve
